CAM BUTTONS
Roller cam lobes are ground flat instead of tapered like flat tappet cams. This makes it necessary to provide some means of preventing the cam from "walking" forward in the engine. PBM's cam buttons ride between the front of the timing gear and the back of the front cover and can be shimmed for proper endplay of the cam. Available as solid aluminum buttons and roller bearing thrust buttons.
